Very similar to the first one- but still very fun to play
If you've played the first one you'll instantly noticed that the game is very simlar, combat is exactly the same, 1 on 1 fights accross two screens.
You can fight as over 20 characters, including gaara, itachi, naruto, sasuke, kakashi, kabuto, tsunade, neji, lee and loads more..
There's also over 10 maps to fight on- but only two new maps.
I reccomend checking out the images and video if you want to see the graphics
Music is almost the same as the previous one, ninja flute music... nothing that would pt you off playing the game.
Fights are intense- NUNH feels like a different style of fighter, maps aren't huge but are pretty big when compared to other fighter series like tekken, bleach and virtua fighter.
You also have throwing knives and special ninja techniques to make the fights very interesting.
There are several different 'modes'- vs cpu, heroes mode and mujengo mode.
Vs Cpu, you can do a fight between 2 characters, simple.
Heroes mode- you make a team of 3 players of your choice and battle against other teams in one on ones- there are normally 5-7 fights in each heroes mode- when you complete the easy one you move onto medium.. then hard and then insane heroes mode.. which is VERY hard.
Mujengo mode is based on the story of Naruto which includes princess dusk and a tower with 100 floors which you must climb, on your way you fight- do riddles- take on challenging mini games which include tree climbing, shadow possession and clone training.
Climbing the tower can get boring, but as you go up you unlock new characters, items, movies, images and more extras which can be veiwed.
One of the great things about NUNH2 is that you can also change the voice acting from english to japanese (personally I can't stand the english voice acting)
I reccomend Naruto ultimate ninja heroes for any anime/naruto fan who enjoys an alternative fighter which is a great time burner.
