The game starts when Naruto, Sakura and Shikamaru returns from a mission out of the village. At the same time Orichumaru attacks The Hidden Leaf Village by summoning a fortress in the sky. The Mugenjo. Naruto and the other go to Tsunade-sama ( the fifth hokage) to get briefing. They find out that they need to peel off 8 summing scrolls for the mugenjo to dissapear. Everytime they peel of a scroll they see one of the castles memories, and who is the mysterios lady of the castle, princess Dusk, and what happend to castle Dusk...?
As I said the game has a very good plot and the gameplay is good, you should really enjoy the fighting techniques if you are acustomed to Naruto. But the game itself becomes really boring.
Mugenjo Mode:
in the mugenjo mode you shall climb 99 stories in the Mugenjo and there are 3, 4 or 5 room in every storie, you can choose five different rooms to do:
- Tree Climbing Room
- Fighting Room
- Shadow Possesion Room
- Amusment Room
- Clone Room
you fight in teams of 4, 1 leader and 3 usuals.
After you completed a room you get a various amount of ninja points wich an be used on The Ninja Road.
After you completed The Mugenjo you unlock game mode The Hidden Mugenjo wich is the same exept you are going down the basement and its only 33 stories.
you also unlock more characters who can be used in Hero Mode, VS. CPU mode or multiplayer.
Heroes Mode:
In heroes mode you must pick a team, and fight trough challenges, example 7 enemy teams with 3 persons in each without restoring health. You get Ninja Point wich can be used on The Ninja Road.
VS. CPU:
Fighting vs cpu, just like any other fighting game like Tekken.
Multiplayer:
Just like VS. CPU, but agianst a friend.
Ninja Road:
Here you can spend your Ninja points in pictures, soundtracks, movieclips, animations, etc.
Overall Rating:
+ The game has cool fighting techniques and a exciting plot with funny twists. Vs. CPU, Heroes Mode and Multiplayer is really fun.
- The Mugenjo Mode becomes really boring after a while.
I give the game a 5.5 score.
