Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes 2: The Phantom Fortress

All the substance of the first PS2 releases, but at the cost of an inexcusably tedious Heroes mode.

Learning Curve: Pick up and play, pretty much mash circle, then with the directional buttons and maybe a triangle, circle every now and again.

Pros:

- Well rendered for the console
- Very good combination system
- Fun multiplayer
- Decent roster of characters

Cons:

- The career mode (Heroes mode) is repetitive and downright disappointing
- Only get 1 finisher per character and are all extremely brief
- Lack of WiFi compatibility
- Outdated dramatically at this point

Verdict:

Overall a good little game to have a blast at now and again, especially with friends, but too outdated at this point (only just reaches the Chunin exam arc) and the small amount of moves and no WiFi leaves this game purely as a fan's game and nothing more. Shame.
