N:UNH review for the PSP

User Rating: 6 | Naruto: Narutimate Portable Mugenjou no Maki PSP
Naruto Ultimate Ninja Heroes, the 1st in the portable ultimate ninja series for the play station portable rather than the normal console.

It features a decent roster of about 20 characters, as well as customizable jutsu similar to ultimate ninja 2. A bad thing, though, is how they removed 3 power level of "Chakra Techniques"- you know, those finishing moves, that you used to press the triangle button to activate.

A new, unique feature, however, was added- The ability to make a team of 3 (or less!) ninja. Certain combinations of characters gave you special perks, such as more items in game, the ability to hurt a character before the actual battle starts, etc. Such as, the three Sannin.

The main focus was the Heroes mode. You got to fight other teams of ninja, until you made it to the final battle in each "Level", each level getting harder and harder, and having a specific team for the last battle. It also had a mission mode, however, which offered additional gameplay, especially if you've already completed Heroes mode, which makes completing some objectives easier.

It was a decent game. Required little time to understand the controls, and the way the gameplay went. However, I don't think it was much worth the wait. Either way. I'd only really recommend it to Naruto gamers. Other people, before you buy this, try one of the other Naruto Ultimate Ninjas for PS2.

I'll give it a 6/10. Not bad.
