Captures the spirit of the anime

User Rating: 9 | Naruto: Narutimate Hero 3 PS2
This is by far the coolest and funnest game in the Ultimate Ninja series. With over 40 characters to choose from and unique custimazation, you could have a brawl with Hinata using Rasengan or Naruto using chidori!!!

Story: Its a fighting game and being that it doesnt have a great plot, but it does somewhat capture the storyline and goes through it in chronological order up to the part where Naruto and Sasuku knock the Bejesus outta each other. Plus theres a free-roam portion in the game that lets you interact with the other characters with countless hours of side-quests and funny dialogue

Characters: Again its a fighting game, so theres no real introduction to hte characters, so either you already knew them from the show or you can learn their names likewise. Either way they all have unique names with even more genuine moves. Who doesnt love the scrappy naruto with his infamous punch-line: "Believe it!!". You can even fight as his dad!! "hint hint"....

Gameplay: Fun, and streamline. Like previous naruto games, but with more characters and custimazation. Fast-paced battles, with well balanced opponents for an exhilarating fight, but not much frustration for true enjoyment. Not to mention those finishers are fun to dish out, along with a cool clip the player has to either mash a button more times than his opponent, or follow the order of the buttons on scrren to unleash the finisher. If the opponent wins it usually cancels it, but theres some that go on just for less damge. You can also use jutsus on others with quik and simple commands adding to the enjoyment

Visuals: Theyre great, very fluent rarely glitch, and run like clockwerk. Its a cross between a 2-d fight format with 3-d characters presenting itself with a brillinat and up to date style. The backrounds are quite detailed, and accurately depict the environments in the anime

Music: Feels much like Okami xD. Has some great sountracks that makes you feel like you're watching the show, either with a sad tune or an upbeat "Holy Crap i can beat this guy!" tune

Flaws: Too short, once you unlock the characters and even some secret ones there aint much there.... plus after doing some mediocre side missions its quite short

Overall: 9/10 Its fun, funny and you can even make the ninjas talk japanese!!! Talk about authentic. Seriously go get this game, why spend $60 on a short PS3 game when you can spend $20 on a short Ps2 game xD
