It's good but don't get if you're easily frustrated

Naruto:Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 is a continuation of the first game Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm. That being said it does a good job on continuing where the first leaves off.

Watching the first scene where Pain destroys the Hidden Leaf Village. I couldn't help but marvel at the great job on the details of the destroyed village so I continued to watch as Sakura's voice breaks the eerie voice of Pain. This was where I saw the first flaw, when Sakura's mouth moved before she even said anything. I didn't pay attention to it as it is just a minor flaw.

The first "mission" was a training session with Kakashi, as I was battling Kakashi I noticed they added some new elements. First they made it less complicated with only 1 attack button and that the Ultimate Jutsu don't have buttons to be pressed anymore.
The quick-time events are also easier.

It seemed that the game was too easy at first as I quickly finished the prologue but I soon realized I was mistaken as I continued. Dialogue took too long and there is too much travelling. On the plus side the maps have been shortened and less side mission in between the main story.

Once you get past the very easy side missions you start with the main story missions. There is no denying that the missions won't thrill anyone such as when you go up against sasori and his thousand puppets or deidara and his clay explosives it is sure to keep you guessing on whether to dodge, or which jutsu to use. But after a while the missions become frustrating after you realize that you can't use your Ultimate Jutsu or use your awakening. It is also frustrating when you realize that there is a second part to the battle and your health is very low. Some of the attacks are just cheap and sometimes substitute jutsu won't work. It is still possible to beat your opponent but you have to be good at it.

Network battles and Free battles are probably the most fun as you have more flexibility over your characters. Playing as your favorite character from Naruto is awesome and there are some nice visual effects to go along with it. Playing with friends just tops it all of.

All in all it's a good game with some flaws that can easily be looked over if you're a true fan
