beat em up fans, get ready, there a new fighting game on the block.
The bad: sound effects (refuring to the regular punches)tend to sound weak. master modes combat is button mashy and areas can look bland and grainy.might be hard to go back if you just recently played ultimate ninja storm.
from the time we only had ultimate ninja 1, i knew there was going to be a ultimate ninja 4, (thanks for posting the japanese gameplay guys). and at this time youd think the game would go stale(from the ultimate ninja games, rise of a ninja, broken bond, ultimate ninja storm, uzimuki chronicles, ninja destiny, ninja council, path of a ninja, )but the main gameplay still manages to bring intense and enjoyable gameplay to the often milked series.
the gameplay uses the same engine it has been running on for years (not just since 2006, but since 2003 in japan.)but every body never feels like they have the same moves. the feeling of narutos powerful impact (and thank god you cansee the health.) but can seemless power ful because some sound effects sound weak.
The main mode is master mode. this mode you go thruogh a story to basicly unlock all the characters. as good fun this mode my look. your often fight someone in a little vally or something, plus you spend most of your fights mashing on the circle button through all your fights. worst part,the areas look bland low res and grainy in this mode.
But thats not to say this is a bad looking game. when you are on a one on one fight. the areas look slightlygrainy, but look good (espicially in a ultimate jutsu.)
Ultimate ninja 4 is slightly a lower score do to its aging fighting system, but it has enough enjoyable moments to be a good game.
