a "bloody" fun time
i first thought this game was mediocre but i loved it, it grew on me is all
this game is fun and i mean it, you can do all kinds of fighting styles and combo moves to choose from, you can also acquire new types from combo chips to build into a skill tree sort of thing
the story is basicly a creation of nanomachines go beserk and turn people into orgamechs, now its up to jake to save the day to kill all orgamechs and prevent this crisis from spreading
the story seems abit cliched and somewhat stereotypical
now lets talk about the platforming sequences they are just frustrating, i mean some are easy and some are hard (ridiculously hard), it made me wanna throw my controller in anger at how hard the platforming is
but putting that aside lets continue
this makes me think that Konami made nanobreaker as a castlevania beta a sci fi nano version of Castlevania
i mean when i compare this to lament of innocence they seem the same but nanobreaker has things lament of innocence doesnt including the atmoshpere and sci fi world
let me talk about jake he is kind of badass with that whole attitude and look of his, he looks like a cyborg version of sephiroth except jake is more kind and has a very awesome weapon the plasma blade
the gameplay is usual hack'n slash mechanics that are very fun and addicting especially when you can do all kinds of combos to your enemies
you can make your plasma blade into an Axe, scythe, hammer, spear, and a big sword
now when gamespot says the enemy AI is nonexistent they are right but who cares, plus some of the enemies get hard time to time, hard but very fun to play,
whats awesome is how you randomly get healed or upgrade your SP gauge and laife gauge while beating like 20 enemies as a level up sort of thing
nanobreaker is a game i play for when i dont have any Idea what PS2 game to play but its still kinda nice its worth a look at

-extras such as splatter mode and play as kieth in the game
-yur health bar and SP gauge gets upgraded everytime you do good killing enemies
bad
-can be very hard at times
-platforming sequences are frustrating
-the voice acting can be pretty wierd or embarrasing
