This game is insanely hard to beat....but I did it!!
This is probably one of the hardest games I've ever played. The controls along with the graphics are EXTREMELY buggy and I can remember getting boiling mad over some of the things this stupid game did. I would get stuck in walls, my gun jammed (not intentially), the game would crash, etc......just tons of bugs that would set me back hours of frustration playing this game. I didn't really know better because this was my first computer game besides playing Wolfenstein 3D at a buddies house in which both games are kind of the same so I thought it was "normal" to have a game this buggy. Now knowing what I know, this game looked and felt like it should have been made in 1988....not '98. I bought it at a Gamestop in the mall for $30. I remember the cover being all green with a pair of dogtags that read "NAM"....so I thought "sweeet" and bought it.
Well like I said, now knowing what I know, this game is terrible! The graphics are no better than the NES and the controls are horrible and unresponsive. Unfortunately whatever company made this game made a sequal called "WWII"....which is basically the same game, just set in World War II times. Yeah, I also bought that game now knowing better...haha.
