Looks good untill you get into PVP, then you see how much time you wasted.

Week one review -

N.E.O. online is a fantasy based, free to play MMORPG game.

Pros: NEO offers lots of unique content. The class-less skill system means that players can tailor their charactor with whatever skills that he/she wants. There are no starting classes, so your skillset can consist of any assortment of skills that you can afford, bringing a nice level of unpredictability to the game by eliminating much of the cookie-cutter classes that we see in most MMO games.
The maps are well designed, and the quests are mostly killtasks, which minimizes the amount of boring courier-type questing seen in most MMOs today (this is a pro for anyone who plays games to be a combatant rather than a cyber mailman). Leveling feels rewarding, as each level grants you additional stat and skill points to spend. The item/crafting system is unique, but...

Cons: ... for the most part, your gear is just a costume, and 80% of your important gear stats are aquired from your Fair-Stones (the NEO take on generic jewelry). This is disappointing, and leads the player to feel as if all crafts outside of Fair-Stone manufacturing are non-vital. Cash-shop items are rental-only, meaning that anything you pay real money for will eventually disappear anyways. Sloppy coding and poor english translations often cause grief.

EDIT: Week 4 +

Now we've encountered some big problems. PVP is about as balanced as yokozuma playing on a seesaw with kate moss.

With the possibility of perma-stun, it's turned into a battle of who lands the first stun spell. This is not fun, it's just a waste of time. No more to be said. Play somthing else if you're looking for a good pvp game to sink your teeth into.
