Easily the best hack-and-slash game since the first Gauntlet

Since the arcade classics, like Gauntlet and Double Dragon, beat-em up, hack-and-slash games have been unoriginal, uninspiring and downright repetitive. But Mystic Heroes changes all that.

Mystic Heroes allows you to chose between four unique characters each with their own preference of elements (fire, wind, lightining and ice) and style of combat giving the game some more depth. The game features non-stop action throwing 20 enemies at you at the same time. Mystic Heroes also features some nice AI touches and plenty of ways to dispatch your foes.

The only real downside is the story which is cliched and the vocie acting which is so bad and painful it's hilarious. Seriously, these must be the actors from the cut-scenes in the 1st Resident Evil. With that being said this is still a ridiculously fun game with pleny of fun action and some of the best multiplayer available on the Cube.
