I'm in heaven. This game is so far beyond any other baseball game I've ever played its crazy. Finaly EA has come through. MVP IS the MADEN of the dimond. Theres so much good about this game I don't know where to start. Lets start with the incredible Dynasty mode. So many little things make this work. First the manager rating & team chemistry rating (which effect games) make you care about your players. If a player dosen't feel hes getting played enough, he lets you know it. Ignor the situation for to long and it starts distrupting your loker room (team chemistry). If this sounds to confusing or difficult to keep track of, its not. It works to perfection. You can play all 162 games in a season if you want, but of course we will all probably sim lots of games, well, in other games, you just go to your calender and pick sim up to a certain date, and while you can do the same in MVP, you can also sim the game but stay in complete control of it. You can sim one half inning at a time, and if at any point your not happy with whats happening, you can take control and either manage, or play the rest of the game your self. ITs SWEET. The gameplay kicks butt also. Every other BB game I've ever played is amazingly unrealistic. After you get the hang of the timming and every thing, every player on your team has like a .450 average or somthing. With MVP, I have a team average of .272, and I'me 59 games into my season. My best players have a .356 and a .332 average. I LOVE THE REALISM. Also, the opposing batters are incredibly real in the way the swing at pitches. FOr instance, I was playing the cardinals, and in the first inning I started Renterea off witha fastbal then change up, He swung early and hit a choper to third for an easy out. In the third inning, next time he came up, I with out thinking, through hime another fastball, cahnge up and he took the change up down the left field line for a double. In the same way, if you real think about your pitch selection and try to fool batters, you can get them so swing at bad pitches. But just through any pich randomly and they jump all over it. This game is as close to video game baseball heaven as I think we'll ever get... at least this generation... or maybe untill next years MVP!
