This is the best baseball game ever made. The pitching is virtually the same as MVP '05, and the batting , which was good in '05 is 10 times as good now. Using the analog to mimick the coil mechanics of the swing works perfectly. It is the most realistic batting ever done in a baseball game. As far as franchise mode, recruiting, etc.. If you think you'll miss haggling with the pros over their salaries, think again. The recruiting system is deep, and incredibly interactive. How good of a recruiter you are depends on how highly you're rated as a coach. The higher the rating, the deeper you can see into how a player will develop over the years. You become a better coach by meeting specific goals during the seasons. You also have to complete other tasks during the season to impress manufactorers so you can earn sponsporships, which will also help you recruit. For example, a shoe manufactere will offer you a deal if you can steal 3 bases in an upcoming game. Anyway... to summarize... if you love baseball. BUY IT.
