The game has its highs and its lows. The gameplay is great and it is easy to pick up on even if you have never played a MVP game before. You can even switch off the "special" features (ie loading your swing and analog throwing) if you so choose. I found the analog swinging to be extremely difficult at first, since I could not move my right thumb fast enough or well enough. But with more play time I think I habe got it down. The big thing that is discouraging to me is the soundtrack. It just plain stinks in my opinion. It sounds horrible and is less than good. Previous years had better soundtracks in their sleep!!!
