Soul Suspects is a fairly unique game that centers on modern day Salem - which has gotta have witches tied in of course. It's pretty fun playing as a ghost, especially after you learn a few abilities. I finished this game in about 10 hours and that's with quite a bit of exploring, so it's definitely a short game. Not sure if it has a lot of replayability but I Gameflyed it and glad I did. I made it a point to talk to other ghosts and man..some of their stories really creeped me out! Some of the scenery is pretty creepy as well.
If you enjoy a lot of combat in your games, DO NOT play this game. There is little combat and the "combat" it does include is utterly frustrating and I hated every minute of it. I avoided it whenever possible. I found it really enjoyable collecting all the various secrets and solving stories. I definitely didn't do a full completion, but I did go back to some areas to finish some of the stories.
I honestly didn't expect the twist at the end and even though it didn't really answer all my questions, it was satisfying enough.
TLDR: Decent adventure game with an interesting plot but very little combat &what combat there is - it's frustrating as hell. Probably a good game to rent as it only takes about 10 hours to play through.
