"Murder in the Abbey" may lack some good puzzles, but a strong story and characters make up for it.
The cartoonish graphics are also very well made, and they are charming, but this game is a murder mystery. It dwells on some of the worst aspects of man, and i think a grittier style would be more suitable.
You play as Leonardo Del Toledo, the Sherlock Holmes of Spanish monks. He is intelligent, likable and the voice actor does a really good job. All the voice acting in this game is terrific.I am not gonna say more about the plot, it's a murder mystery set in a XII century Abbey. During your stay in the Abbey you will meet all the monks there, and i must say that all of them are interesting in a different way. My favorite was Brother Arcadio, a really funny character, made me laugh every time he opened his mouth.
The puzzles are not very imaginative, and are mostly easy, but there are some puzzles that are well made, and you can get stuck on them for a long time.
So i am trying to give it a recommendation , this is a really great point and click adventure game, if you are a fan of the genre pick it up you won't be disappointed.
