Reviewing the game nowadays is wrong.
Because the game changed too much.
The present MU online is not the MU is used to be back in the day.
Comparing an old game with the new standarts is wrong, and of course there are better games out there now, and i understand why some people dont like it now, they didnt played it back than.
MU online was one of the first MMO i ever played, and i think its one on the best, and this is not because it was my first MMO, and its not because nostalgia sake, its because the game was really that good.
I was always poor in the game. Jewels dropped rarley, and i was never quick enough to catch one.
Lvling up was very time consuming.
I had a "s*itty life" in the game and i still had a blast playing it with a friend.
After some time (a few years) i finally got a nice items (still not the best), and around this time i realized that most of the game friends i had, already quit, and slowly i vanished too.
If you want to play this game nowdays, you better not, because most likley you wont like it, there are much better games out there now.
But if you do, you need to realize that its an old game, even if there is season 6 or whatever season there is right now.
And stick to the global server, dont play private servers, its junk.
I would give ANYTHING, to sit one more time in Lorencia bar in the game, just one last time.
