User Rating: 8.7 | Mr. Do! CVIS
The good old classic Mr. Do!. If you never had the chance to play this game on the ColecoVision you missed out. It has to be one of the best ColecoVision games that ever came out. You are a man of some sort (I thought he looked like a rabbit when I was little), that looks like he is wearing a KKK uniform. His determination to harvest his cherries, goes to extreme extent. There are these purple monsters that look like giant heads that chance him all over the map, stopping him from trying to succeed on his harvest. Though Mr. Do isn't just some man trying to run and collecting his cherries. He has a super ball that he can throw, which will bounce around the playing field killing a monster if it is in it's way. This super ball may sometimes not go the direction you want it to, so always have another escape route. He also has to wait for the ball to return to him before throwing it again. There are also apples that he can drop on the monsters and crush them to death. He clears the way under the apple by smashing down the grass and let's it drop onto his enemies. Though you must be careful because they can crush you too if you are not fast enough on moving. Mr. Do can also freeze the enemies by attacking their home base that they leave from. Once he hits the home base, 3 monsters that look like crocodile heads are on the attack and eat through almost anything to get him. An Alpha Monster that carries one of the letters from the word EXTRA also appears. Collect all these letters by destroying the monster and you will receive a extra life.

Once Mr. Do has collected all the cherries or killed all the monsters you will then move on to the next level, which is more difficult then before. There are 10 levels in the entire game, once you played them all it repeats the levels at a faster pace.

Ratings for this game and why:

* The graphics are great for this game showing almost every colour that the ColecoVision can put out. The maps are very colourful and bright.

* The music is great but it's the same theme song through out the game. There is a change when you win a level and when you attack home base. *The sound effects are not annoying but are the same over and over again. To be expected on such an old system.

* The controls are great except when you reach the harder levels, it can be rather hard to move around fast enough from your enemies.

* The challenge seems endless, the game gives you a great challenge on being the fastest player on collecting cherries.

* This review is based on the time the game was released and games that are also for this system. The review is not based on today’s technology or it wouldn’t stand a chance.*
