Mount & Blade type games are hard to do so you can't see this genre games too often.That means there wasn't any example game that TaleWorlds can copy ! That give a big point to them from me.And only 2 people started to do this game (wife and husband).Now lets speak about game:

Positives
-Gameplay is fun with any weapons and easy to learn.
-Recruiting people to party was a great idea (Think about 200 people on your party! An army).
-The AI can kill you easily if you're careless.(Like stand in front of a running horseman with spear.)
-The map is large but can be much larger.Just lets wait for mods.
-With mods you can have much more fun.
-Cities, arena and that goes like that!
-Graphics that good enough to have fun and work on many types PC's.
-Conquering castles or cities.

Negatives
-You can get bored if you do same things again and again.(But be careful I said "if YOU do".Game isn't boring itself.
-Leveling can get too hard.
-Its hard to earn money at start.
-The AI can get stupid rarely.
