Mount & Blade: With Fire & Sword Launch Trailer

the 90s, really? what game where you playing that was near this good in the 90s. how about you focus on gameplay, the serious is loved because of it. maybe you should play the game first before you comment on it.

this game is a buggy unfinished pile of crap. this was not developed by taleworlds but by another developer apparently made up of incompetent amateurs. i have tried to enjoy this game but when they release it and you cant even upgrade your troops which would have been noticable with even the shortest playtesting. i would recommend that people avoid this game and just use the mount and musket mod........frankly its better than this pile of crap and lets you even use cannons has better sfx etc. ill keep playing my modded warband which i love and avoid anything from SICH forever. :{

I don't get how people can like this game. Might have been great in the 90s, but just feels clunky, simplistic, and awful to me compared to almost anything else I've tried in the past 10 years. Somehow it gets mostly good reviews though, so guess I'm the crazy one.

Great game guys, worth trying and buying, get the demo from taleworlds.com then play for a few hrs i'm sure you'll be hook, be careful, sleepless nights if u play this game. btw if u get the right tweak, you'll be able to play 1000 troops on the field if your pc could handle it.

@ Poodlejumper teutonic order was defeated by the Poles and Lithuanians before this game's timeline kicks in.

It may not look it, but the mount and blade series is INSANELY addicting....

I have tried it and I would definately reccomend it to anyone that enjoyed the other ganes but also wished for some real explosives!

why can't they just show what the game looks like when played.. i'm not buying it because they edited the video so much.. are they trying to hide something? SHOW ME THE GAMEPLAY.

Apparently the user reviews are not as good as M&B warband and that makes might think if the game is worth buying. I expect Gamespot is not giving a review as usual (bias basta*rds)! I just wanted them to add more player freedom/options and eventually boats (as in naval operations) as well as a new bigger map and I would be happy :)

M&B what a great time killer.the fact is you dont need too have a high end pc too get a great time killer.

@LanceRagobar Yeah they don't really have the money to create very powerful trailers, but they still make one hell of a game that really doesn't get the credit it deserves...

I've never been able to get into mount and blade, i'm sure i'm missing out on a great experience though :(

I just downloaded the demo and it's pretty great. It's even better than the last two! They've made HUGE improvements to the game with this and Warband. I'm hoping that they will announce a sequel soon, as I'm very curious to see what they'll do with it.

How's the gameplay? Warband had some buggy gameplay towards the end when you split into your own Kingdom which is why i stopped playing, I hope the RPG/Strategy part is a bit more refined...any comments?

Been playing since early beta...still cant get enough Mount & Blade!!

Graphics are good and everyone that says that they are bad must check his eyes...or play the game to see first hand.When 150 men with horses and full detailed armor and weapons run around you it looks great and it feels great.Horse riding-best ever!

@LuigiCHun77 It had the best possible graphics for the scale of troops being generated in a siege...if ur talking bout the RTS element with bad graphics thats a different story. The game was really satisfying in multi-player and can be compared to a 3rd person Total war (within its graphical boundaries). Most uniques game out there , and it seem not for everyone ,but to Ignore this game is short of a crime =)

When did gamers turn into graphics whores? This is a very good setting for a game, considering it involves my country's history. Ukranians, Poles, Russians, Turks, and i'm not sure who's the fifth nation. I've never played mount and blade but im very interested now.

I've been playing Warband since I got the complete pack on Steam. I am in love with the game. And honestly who cares about the graphics. With a game of that scale I think graphics would slow the game down, and I'd much rather be able to strategically time my shots and stabs then click aimlessly on my mouse hoping to hit something (due to lag). Cant' wait for Fire and Sword

I can't wait for my Steam pre-order to start downloading in 12 hours. It's been a while since I've played Mount & Blade. This return should be a blast. Get it? A blast? Firearms? Ahahahaaa... nevermind. But seriously, I can't wait.

You can't judge this game by its looks, says the ones who have "actually" played this game. Steam has this on sale still, I would recommend playing the demo(s) from Steam. This series is not for everyone, and has somewhat of a learning curve as far as knowing what your doing and how to approach a strategy to strengthen your growing army. It gets better when you start fighting larger oppositions.

@lantonis Are you seriously still trying to judge Mount and Blade by its graphics? I would have thought that you had learned by now...

@ CottonTheMoth man, two different games for two different prices. Please don't turn BF fans into CoD fans (comparing everything to MW). That would be a shame.

Man this is gonna give BF3 a run for its money.
