man oh man.. This game sure does trick you in the beginning
The things motorcross did right are Gorgeous graphics, i mean straight up gorgeous for psp. Great soundtrack and decent selection of cars..
Now to the real meat of the game.. i guarantee you everybody that rated this game good did not play for a very long time before rating the game. This game gets insanely difficult as you progress. There are times (if not for my wriststrap) my psp would be broken because of how frustrating this game is.
As you progress you start to realize how horrible the car mechanics and car physics. Also how frustrating it is when you are in a buggy and a garbage truck keeps trying to mess you up.
I mean it seems small but add the fact that the physics for this game is f'ed up! like really bad. I guess the developers behind motorcross decided they would love to piss off their customers by adding unrealistic extremely annoying physics. im talking about one little hit can send your car rolling and rolling. Im a nfs fan and if they could have just borrowed some physics from there, it could really have saved this game.
Also the handling for the cars. At times you have to come to about a complete stop for your car to turn like you want it to, and dont even think about grazing the side of the track or else you will be stuck in a seemingly endless fit of car loops. This game is truly annoying but it does have an addictive quality that makes me have to beat it.
I keep coming back to it knowing i will be pissed off, whY? i dont know but you should prolly rent it first
