What we have here in Motoheroz is a fresh and original take on the mario style platformer with a big and interesting twist making this a game like no other on any platform .And that twist is a well crafted side scrolling racing mechanic,.while looking very polished graphically for a downloadable title.
The single player mode is the story of Gene McQuick a rookie racer who has to race his way through 70 or so of the most invented levels to be seen in many a year . in each level there are coins to be collected , hidden orbs to collect and some truly mind bending roller coaster type courses to navigate ,which wont be easy due to the finely tuned physics engine that game developer RED LYNX (of trails hd fame ) have brought to the Motoheroz world .
The game is not too difficult to finish but to collect all the coins ,hidden orbs and especially get gold on all the levels is no mean feat .but you will want to collect as many coins and orbs as possible in order unlock and purchase as many zany vehicles as possible for use in the games finest event , Party Mode .
Yes the main reason for purchasing this game is not for the excellent story
mode but for the upto 4 player multiplayer physics base racing , where friends hustle , hassle ,block and use all manner of weapons items and short cuts in a race to the checkered flag ,which is not always positioned in the easiest place .
It is so much fun you'll be shouting at the screen in the same way as you would in any of nintendos Mario Kart games it really is that good .
