Great graphics, tonnes of extras, and very very addictive, makes this moto gp installment one of the best yet

As a die hard bike sim fan, i dont really rate the namco GP series in terms of being realistic, but damn this games fun.

I have all the Moto GP games for the Ps2, and this i have to say is my favorite, with all the riders from the 2006, and 2005 season there's plenty of bikes available, including all the "specials" (basically Rossi's alternate paintjobs, laguna seca + valencia paint schemes) But, there are so many bikes, yet so little tracks, 8 tracks is enough but why not include at least 2 more? hopefully there will be bonus material including more tracks, just need to keep our fingers crossed on that one..

As far as gameplay goes, its the same old story, the slippery arcadey physics may not please the sim fans like me, but once you get past the icy slides (even without sim mode on) the game really opens up. People have been saying the AI is too rigid, yes it is a little on the "stiff" side, but anyone who has moto gp 3 + 4 will know that Moto Gp4 has a big improvement in the AI side of things (making mistakes, and the occasional highside if you pressure them) well you'll be glad to hear its the same on the portable version, and if you've selected hard mode, you can have a few good battles.

The attention to detail has to be the highlight of the game, with all the stand in riders included in the game, and even the grid positions mimic the past two seasons. As i mentioned before, the alternate paint scheme bikes are included, which is a nice touch (even in the Mugello races Rossi has his special Mugello helmet on) so for fans of the real life series its nice to see, the bike sounds have been tinkered with too, making the bikes sound much better than in the ps2 series.

In multiplayer the game is a hoot, me and 3 other friends have it, and allthough you can't include AI riders in multiplayer, it still is a real giggle with a few mates.

Overall Moto Gp is a very nice game, fun to play , suits the psp well with its "pick up and play" style, lovely graphics and superb attention to detail this is a must have for any bike racing fan.
