I'm sorry. I'm old school. I remember when racing games exploded at the arcades in the 80's, you didn't need to worry about driving mechanics. It was all about racing the other vehicles, other people. The newest iterations of games these days seem to all be about such realistic mechanics, that actual "racing" has become a 2nd, or sometimes even 3rd priority by game developers, who prefer ultra realistic mechanics, and management options as opposed to just RACING. I don't like it. I honestly don't want to learn how to drive a real bike on my Xbox, nor do I have the time. I only have a few moments a day to play anything with work, kids, and daily living. I can't spend hours on an overly complicated learning curve. I just want to race around the track and blinding speeds against dumb AI competition. Like the old games. The car games are exactly the same disappointing realism as this game here. I absolutely hate it. Racing games should center the fun around racing the competition, PERIOD. You shouldn't have to worry about mechanics, or my least favorite feature, ....RAIN. Ugh. Who the heck wants to race ANYTHING in the rain???!!! SOOOOOOOO STUPID. To me, I think the best driving mechanics for any games are the old "Need For Speed" games. Mindless, fun racing. Who cares about damage?? Just frickin race!! I spent more time on the ground in MotoGP20 than I did on the bike. Not fun. Why anybody would think that having to master the mechanics of a real bike in a video game is any fun is completely BEYOND ME????? I seriously haven't a clue.
