This is a lot better than the Gameboy Port, if you need a pocket Mortal Kombat... Then you you need to get this version.
The frame rate is just a bit better, and at least the game is in color.
You don't have to strain your eyes as bad to figure out what exactly is happening.
You are missing one character from the line up, but over all it's a nice decent experience.
If you still have your Game Gear and don't have this title, you should try to find it if your a fan of the series.
It's worth paying for this one instead of the Gameboy's version.
