Funky and unique. A real game with some real challenge, but it won't appeal to everyone. Worth considering though

The concept of the game also includes a form of galactic evolution.
Goes like this.... as an asteroid your purspose is to grow by absorbing other asteroids... once you reach a certain mass you will transform into a planet.
As a planet you have access to planet based missions, but your evolutionary purpose as a planet is to collect asteroids in your orbit, absorb them to increase your mass... reach a certain amount of mass and you will evolve life on your planet, granting you a shield and spaceships.... continue to grow in mass and you will burst into a star
As a star you have access to star based missions, and your evolutionary purpose as a star is to gather planets into your gravitational orbit... absorb them to grow in mass, they in turn still can grow by absorbing asteroids that fall into their orbit.
Here's the interesting thing about evolving life within your own planetary solar system... usually the life of varying planets is at peace with each other and will only attack rogue (white) space ships or enemy (red) planetary ships that are orbiting another star.
You can build some planets up to the mass of a star to have multi star systems... but ultimately your purpose as a star is to build enough mass by absorbing planets to become a black hole.
It's an odd little game that can become an addictive little pleasure. Building the planets that orbit your star and so on. It's quite a clever yet simple mechanic that can be quite challenging.
Some of the missions are quite difficult. The only way to make it easier is to turn off physics in the menu, or turn them down. I haven't bothered touching that because I like the difficulty in the game as it is.
Check it out during a steam sale. If you like funky and unique games, this would be a great addition to your collection and worthy of some of your spare gaming time.
Kind of an odd mix of strategy and physics based hand-eye-coordination
