i have this game and what a let down it was. actually it has its good and bad parts. its goods is that the graphics have bunked up n the new combat system with free fall kombat close kombat n rage makes the fighting better. the story mode was ok n the online i guess is ok, and the venues were great like gotham city. its bads are that theres not enough characters. the story mode was to short. u lose online connectivity way to fast. they should have added alot more mini games like deception, and finally the fatalities and brutalities SUCKS !!!! what happened to all the bodies exploding and ripping limbs off. im not saying the games sucks but they could have done alot better than this . please dont rate mortal kombat teen anymore

is it just me? or does anyone else think the close kombat is going to be abused over and over in online play? people just try and get in close and nothing else will get accomplished

hmm...free fall, pretty good. Rage, alright. Klose combat, wtf. It seems tacked on, like they were sitting in a meeting looking for stuff to add to the game and some jergoff said "hey, why don't we zoom the camera in, limit the moves you can do, and make it really easy for your opponent to counter (or is it kounter) you." No one else could think of anything better so they went wit it. What's next? Krazy mode or Kage matches, or maybe Komplete Khaos mode. MK should do something really really strange and spell Kombat with a "C" instead of a "K," now that's innovative.

for a mortal kombat game, its has a lot awesome improvements. but for a fighting game, its like a kid's play.

The character animations look completely recycled from the last-gen. There was no fluidity in the animations especially in the "pop-up" attacks. I really think that the free fall and klose combat look really overrated, they are just a bunch of mini-games. The "Rage" mode is nothing new to fighting games, similer things have been done before. I thought a new fighting mechanic would mean a fighting a experience to rival Soul Caliber or Tekken. I think it looks like old MK games but in higher resolution.

I think this game will be fun. The freefall combat seems great, and the "klose" combat is a good feature, but like "coold steam" said they look a lite bit robotic. The fatalities are back! I never thought I cold fatality the Superman! Cool!

i wish mortal kombat could just like, idk, be more than just stupid entertainment, and be revolutionary or something for once.

Well the DC superheroes are WAY underpowered... Superman just shouldn't have been in this, and I mean Green Lantern didn't look like he used his power ring much... Should have been more characters like Batman power level: Joker was good, Catwoman, Deathstroke, Wonder Woman; but how about Green Arrow, Aquaman, Hawkman, Plastic man, Black Canary, Wildcat, Nightwing, Blue Beetle... all more equal to MK guys.
