Why can't I do any of the fatalities?

I have followed the simple instructions which have been given on the website and those from others. Do my game settings need to be set a certain way? FYI the non-collector edition of MK vs. DCU.

Make sure you have the blood setting turned on.

Also...make sure you're not playing in story mode...kind a obvious....but that might help. You can only do them in Arcade more and two player.

It doesn't matter which version you have of the game. It all depends all on you. Try to practice using the TwoPlayer mode and try to perform the Fatalities that way. Sometimes you get cought up in the moment and forget the codes to use for the Fatality.

On those other answers i tried the fatalities but only half of them work this is really frustrating. i know how and where to do them but they just don't seem to work.
