A great idea for mortal kombat.

When I first heard that Midway were making mortal kombat shaolin monks into an action adventure game I was thrilled because I thought it would be a great change for the beat em up game. When the game came out and I bought it as soon as I first played it I was having a great time. I think it is a really great and gruesome game so if you are a fan of MK or just enjoy watching lots of gore flying out of people then this game won't disappoint.

Gameplay: The gameplay is the best part of the game it is just great fun from beginning to end and has awesome fighting styles, combos and some of the most gruesome fatalities in an MK game.

Graphics: I was a bit disappointed with the graphics because I think that MK Deadly Alliance and Deception both had great graphics but I think on this game the graphics could have been as good as them 2 games but I don't think they were. The graphics are still good though.

Sound: The sound is pretty good throughout the whole game with great music when you're fighting and roaming around but the only problem to me was the great fatality music sometimes disappeared and all you heard when you were doing the fatalities sometimes was just the squelching of guts

Controls: I think the game's controls are really simple which is really good so you can't get confused.

Value: I think the game has great value and is well worth buying even if you haven't played the MK games at all before.

Overall I think MK Shaolin Monks is an excellent game and if you don't own it already I think you should go to the shops right now and buy it.
