Despite a dead online room and altogether poor online interface - the game is still pretty gosh darn fun.
Obviously we have all played this game 100s of times because it is a classic and will always be just that. The downloadable PS3 version gives us the original class Mortal Kombar arcade version that we all drove our parents broke quarter by quarter playing.
If you bought this specifically to play online you will regret it. All you can do is select that you want to play online and then sit on a screen that says "waiting for opponent"...there is no room or way to tell how long you will have to wait to play. If you get up to do something while you wait (yes it takes that long) you could miss when the game joins and starts and lose before you knew you started.
However, to me, this game is a comfort zone, a always pleasing game to sneak in for like 5-10 mintues...I play it when downloading demos, when people are over, etc etc.
Everyone loves it and its a must have for every home ;)
