Presentation - 8.5/10 Graphics - 9/10 Gameplay - 8/10 Sound - 9/10 Replayablity -9.5/10 Overall: 8.8/10 Midway have worked hard enough on this version of Mortal Kombat to better it's predecessor "Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance". This game places good and evil together to take on the worst of all emperors. Together Raiden, Shang Tsung and Quan Chi must work together to take on Unagi, a mighty emperor who was sent away but has returned to once again take over the Earth Realm and in turn, the Mortal Kombat tournament. With the all new "Chess Kombat", "Puzzle Kombat" and a brand new Konquest mode to go through, Midway have really outdone themselves in this version Mortal Kombat. This game is great as the Konquest can keep you busy for hours. As for replayability, as the first Mortal Kombat in the series to venture into Online compatablity, you can play this game over and over against thousands of online competitors. The gameplay is basically the same as "Deadly Alliance", once again with handy move lists for when you are stuck on a tough opponent. The graphics are much better than in "Deadly Alliance" especially on old characters such as Baraka, Scorpion and Sub Zero. Also, the new characters also look fantastic such as; Darrius, Ermac and Kobra. Overall, a great game that is worth the money that should keep you busy and amused for hours on end.
