Not the best MK but certainly not the worst.

In the mid to late 90's 3-D games were everywhere. All of are favorite franchises were growing into the games we play today unfortunatley, MK took a step down, not a big one but still a step down.

MK4 is a great game with some flaws. For example, the fatalities were changed around a lot. Scorpions fatality in MKII (I forget 3) was Hold BLK and click Up Up HP. now it's BFFB HP+BLK and plus, the distance is very precise. If you're a couple steps off, your not going to get it. They also got rid of some characters. Yeah, again. Stryker, Smoke, Ermac, Kitana, Mileena, and some others. We do get some new ones to though, like Meat. Also, for the first time we get to play as Goro & Noob Saibot. A cool thing about this game is the addition of a practice mode so you can get used to the new moves. Also in the practice mode you can view how to do the different special moves & fatalities. A new addition is also the weapons system. You enter a button combnation, like a special move and your character pulls out a weapon.

So, MK4 is a great game. Not as good as 2 or 3 but still a great game
