Scorpion and Sub-Zero face off against Cyrax and Sektor in this ninjas versus robots tag team fight.
Robots have skulls and internal organs...it is their only weakness. Remember that when they make their move to conquer the world! But seriously, I like how this looks.
Release a Patch for the game to support installation to hard disk so it can run faster and also protect Blue Ray drive's life. You can add it to menu for those who wants it. PLEASE.
This is awesome. I haven't really enjoyed a fighter since the arcades, but this looks like a lot of fun. The dragons chasing the chopper in the background is pretty neat and the billboard in the back right is also a nice touch. Looks like fun.
I don't usually play fighting games but since it's Mortal Kombat I must buy this game. I played the first Mortal Kombat when it first came out and it was awesome. It introduced me to the genre and the digitalized graphics were revolutionary. It was also very controversial because of it's gore and violence. Did you know that the first Mortal Kombat took only 10 months to produce?
I love how the art direction is a "high detailed cartoon" look. I wish more games did this instead of going toward the photo-realistic graphics and end up with a pixelated mess. The audio also sounds top-notch! Taking the day off to play this one. Hoping it's the Mortal Kombat I've been looking forward to for the past 16 years.
this seems great! the combat looks fluid and fun, characters seem well balanced, and the tag teaming looks to be some of the best ive seen (but i havent played many games with that mode to be truthful) i like how long a match lasts...that was always my beef with fighting games that rounds were way too short. only thing is i think that move with sektor (or was it cyrax?) where he sinks into the ground and comes back up underneath scorpion and to punch him seems kind of cheap...seems like it can't miss and it looks like you could probably spam that move to win...he even laughs after he does it like WB knows its a cheap shot lol
oh and nubs, sektor and cyrax are/were CYBORGS, not robots. Them having human body parts is completely ok.
I'm not sure if anyone else noticed the poster in the level background for "Johnny Cage is Ninja Mime! He's silent, but deadly." I'm not quite sure what to make of that.
@Egotte Good luck with that. :) Not only Do I not find a single character that blends in with the series from the XBOX360 scene, but Kratos is also the ultimate addition to the series. He blends in so well, like he was always part of it, he is very popular, very badass, very powerful, and even the David Jaffe, the guy who gave manbirth to what we know as God Of War, admitted he was greatly influenced by the MK series as a child, and it was his inspiration for GoW. I highly doubt Master Chief will blend well. We already have Cyrax and Sector. Don't need another robotic Superhuman warmachine.
@deadruler08 lmfao you thought he was only machine? machine cant move like that..... Thats his insane robo suit
Thank god i have bought a ps3 two weeks ago, now i can finally give my gaming pc some sleep for a while, the ps3 will finally come to live this month. Kratos is perfect for MK, to bad Ryu Hayabusa (ninja gaiden) is not in here, but still great characters, i hope they will create and release character DLC's in the future.
Lord!!! Give me the strength to beat the S*** out of Shao Kahn and Goro! I will own their A****!!! I hope they have Kintaro and Motaro in the game otherwise where's the ultimate MK challenge with sub-bosses that'll bring you down to total frustration and tears even before you fight the real boss. "KKKKKKKKKKAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" If anyone notices the quotes, it's from William Shatner.
I like @ 1:27 the guy using Sub-Zero maxim(ices) the width of his ice statue by executing the move during a stretched out punch. I see endless possibilities of sick tag combos in this game.
General Raam would just be too perfect for the 360 version of this game. The screen goes dark and the Krill swarm in and tear the victim into a heaping pile of lacerated flesh and bone. Awesome sauce.
I fell out of love with the MK series after Deadly Alliance. I really hated the 3d battle arenas and sidestepping. After seeing this I pre-ordered MK because it seems like they went back to their roots... and put steroids of awesomeness in them. *thumbs up* :)
Screw Kratos! I've got both systems, and I'm getting this version! Has anyone read this? http://www.g4tv.com/thefeed/blog/post/711233/mortal-kombat-creator-drops-hints-about-exclusive-xbox-360-character/
