Liu Kang seems to be an interesting character to use. Guess I've always been a Scorpion fanboy, I'd just like to say that kev1997 does not represent the mature PS3 gamers.
Why still not PC version ? I remember the old one Mortal Kombat 4 PC version (ten years ago) - was a best fighting game ... and unfortunately the last one; oh, yes - StreetFighter is not bad but is a bit different - cannot be directly compared with MK;

No they stated in a press release that this game takes place after the events of Armageddon, the ending to the conquest mode altered the realm and this game is supposed to be so kind of alternate universe. I'm pretty sure that the press release is on this website.
Wow. They actually brought up Bo Rai Cho. I thought they were just going to pretend Mortal Kombat 4-7 didn't exist. If the series is traveliing back in time to the beginning it's asinine that characters from the entire series aren't coming along. Quan Chi needs to be here. Somebody from Deadly Alliance too. Drahmin was awesome.
I don't own any books for those bookends, so I don't know. Maybe I can use them for my games. Whatever kollector's edition or not, I'm getting this game
@superzone thanks, thats pretty cool 26 characters is great I was worring it wouldnt be like the first mortal kombat for psone just 6 you can play.
does anybody know how many playable characters will be in this game? will it be 6 or 7 etc... couldnt find anything about that. I hope it wont be just 6, I hope it will something like the mortal kombat trilogy for the PSone.

wooof ! Somehow, the animation didn't really improved since the 90s... It's their mark, but still..... You like it or not I guess... It was great back then, but now it's just different.
@ramb1402 Fair enough man, I just know that I have made early judgments about games in the past, and sometimes been pleasantly surprised. Hopefully that is the case here. I would love for this game to be good.
