This game is the best in the series. The graphics are great and are done just right to capture the old-school characters and backgrounds. Also, every character has their own personality, (Scorpion is hell bent on revenge; Johnny Cage is a douche) which adds to the fun while you're ripping out your opponents spine with a patented "FATALITY".

The game play is incredible. Super smooth and fluid. Every animation looks crisp and clean. The special moves have defined the series its entire life, and without a doubt are awesome, especially Sub-Zero's ice attacks. Some moves are cheap, (Noob/Smoke's moves) but that's expected with any Mortal Kombat game. Online play is also very fun and intense, but has many special move-spammers.Trust me, just play against your friends or call a truce before the match... Play the story mode instead. You'll be entertained by the story and fights.

Overall, the game is highly addicting to anyone that appreciates a good fighter. With an assortment of cool characters,massive amounts of gore, and hot chicks, no self-respecting guy would turn it down.
