- The Bottom Line:
- "Best in series"
First of all, I love how the storyline has the full Mortal Kombat story strung together in one sequence. It was exactly what needed to be done. It's also very interesting to see how each player got to be how they are like Kabal, Scorpion, and Cyrax.
I also loved the "Test Your Luck, Might, Strike, and Sight" mini games. Bringing back some oldschool MK. Everything about this game is enjoyable, the Krypt has, I think, 4 sections that are all cool looking, like the Blood Marsh with bloody water with bodies floating in it.
The story mode was, for the most part, easy. But certain battles like the Quan Chu/Shang Tsung fight, Goro/Kataro fight, and especially the near impossible final Shao Kahn fight. I thought I'd never beat him, but after 500 million tries I finally killed him once... then 100 trillion tries later I beat him both times. I hear that playing on normal makes it a lot easier than hard though.
Not only if you're a Mortal Kombat fan, but if you like fighters at all, buy this game. It has everything and much, much more.

Quickly and surely dethrones UMK3 as the ultimate, polished, tournament fighter MK game.
