- The Bottom Line:
- "Best in series"
I used to play Mortal Kombat 1 in the arcades and on my SNES, I can't begin to tell you how happy this game makes me.
Pros:
- Let me see that I am horrified by the amount of violence in this game.. it is truly.. AWESOME
- Easy to pick up and play, good training mode, no long list of overcomplicated moves and stances
- TONS of content and unlockables
- Best single player I've ever seen in a fighting game, and I mean that
- Performing fatalities are a lot easier than they used to be, which is great because fatalities are sweet
Cons:
- Using the controller will never be as good as an arcade stick and it can be tricky doing some moves, but it does a good enough job.
- The bosses in this game (Shao Kahn, Kintaro, Goro) are so CHEAP AHHHHH, just as frustrating as they used to be.
Summary: This is the Golden Age of Mortal Kombat all over again. Mortal Kombat is back with a vengeance, bigger, badder, and bloodier than ever. This is a must buy.
Overall: 9.5/10

This game is awesome with a few minor problems mostly revolving around CPU and difficulty.

There's a lot of meat in Mortal Kombat, in many senses. Too bad half of it looks and feels foul for my tastes.
