Easily the best game in the series!
The story mode is very well done and the graphics are amazing. If you went straight into the Arcade mode and haven't done the story, you're missing out on the best part of the game. I've been up late the last kouple nights because I wanted to kontinue through the story mode. This story, the voice acting and the production are easily better than the two movies lol!
The moves, kombos and environments are so awesome I kan't help smiling through every match even when I get owned by the komputer. I'm so happy they included all of the klassic moves and environments. They took my favorite things of the first three games and updated them very well.
I'm also glad they included the swords for people like Scorpion and Sub Zero but didn't make them a full fighting stance with different moves. I didn't really like that in Armageddon. I think they added the sword attacks in combos and specials very well.
The X-ray moves are friggin fantastic! This is definitely one of the best features they've added to MK in a long time. They're so much cooler than ultras or supers in Street Fighter games. The power attacks are a nice new feature as well.
The krypt and cemetary with the unlockables is pretty kool as well. I loved this feature in the previous games so it's nice to see that kome forward.
I also have to mention, the women in this game are works of art!
My only kriticisms so far are that the lip syncing to the voices isn't the greatest and some of the fatalities are somewhat weak. Most of the fatalities are awesome, more gruesome than ever and sometimes funny.
If you're sitting on the fence about this game, I really don't know what you're waiting for!
