Great game!
The "monsters" come in many shapes and sizes, each of them different in some way, which introduces strategy into the game, as each different monster has different weaknesses, attacks, and with the combination of available items that can be bought, found, and combined, as well as the massive set of armour and weapons that can be created from hides and scales that can be carved from monsters, and the minerals mined while out on quests.
Overall, monster hunter has many great qualities, and unfortunately has picked up a bad reputation from gamers who have not enjoyed all that it has to offer, and would just like to have added my opinion on this great game.
