tekudriger 5 pts

o well i dont own a PS3 so i dont really care. but the Wii sure needs a hardcore RPG game and MH3 is gonna be the one.

mihai2mn 5 pts

the wii has no use other than initiating your girlfriend in to video gaming

aero_wolf098 5 pts

Wii doesnt = kids.... if you dont believe me take a look at Mad World =P

potatolover 5 pts

Huge let-down! Monster hunter belongs to sony! A ps3 release would hav been sooooo nice, and instead capcom switched it to this dull console

I hope nintendo works down the safety for the online on this thing. And the online is gunna be pay to play. with wii speak and lobbying.

meridianhawkins 5 pts

sc-jager 5 pts

@Maakasukage the PS3 fanboy. first off learn to spell and speak proper english. second have you ever played a wii?The controls will be fine

sc-jager 5 pts

lol all the PS3 fan boys are mad. I own a 360 and want a Wii. Will probably buy wii for this game and a few others

remixbaby44 5 pts

game looks sik. Im glad were staring to c more quality third party games 4 the wii. The system is really lacking those kinds of games

acfjosh 5 pts

awesome stuff. A great decision to put it on the Wii especially to annoy the Xbox geeks. This will be Wii gold

Nate401 5 pts

ATTENTION anybody who is dying for MH 3!!!! Come join the Monster Hunter Union here at Gamespot and sign our MH 3 petition. Capcom wants to hear the USAs demand for MH3

Meltdown099 5 pts

The only way that wii will drop this child cover which most peopel think it has is when games are released on it. And monster hunter is always huge so sell it on the system thats soild the most is a wise choice. I'm sure others would like it on there system of choice but guess what.. your not a massive company that has to make money to surive you just play the damn thing so just buy it and play it .. jeez XD

nini200 70 pts

I understand everybody's concern over capcom's choice of system but stop complaining about it. Geez. Once the Wii finally get some more Hardcore games, everybody wants to complain about why it isn't on their system. If you want this game, you'll get a Wii and buy the game just like PS3 and Xbox360 owners tell Wii owners when an exclusive game is made and the Wii crowd wants it but can't get it.

zenszulu 5 pts

Well all I would have to say for why Capcom picked the Wii over the PS3 or Xbox 360 for now is more than likely due to it's sucess in Japan and since the Montser Hunter 3 series normally sells in the millions releasing it on anything but the best selling system may not be a good business move for Capcom and to be honest as far as looks go it looks great for a Wii game more games like this need to be made for the Wii I'd just hope Sega relase a Phantasy Star online game on the Wii.

-ROFLZ- 5 pts

hmmm....so this means i have to buy monster hunter 3 PLUS the ethernet adapter PLUS the Wiispeak when it comes out...i agree with other ppls..why wii...xbox and ps versions would of made alot of people happy. oh and friend codes....*Shivers* quit trying to "protect" those kiddy gamers will ya

Directed at: IXIWhistIXI and foxfire0666 I'm sorry, but you are wrong. Granted, there aren't many games on the Wii that have a decent online function to speak of, but there are several that can be played with strangers online. Their avatar is displayed or just their screen name and you can join games and search for available players in Europe or worldwide. Examnples of these would be Guitar Hero 3 and Mario Kart Wii. It is being done, but just not enough to satify the average gamer. I, However, am pretty old-school when it comes to gaming. I favour innvotion but online functionality isn't innovation. It's mainly a way to prove you're better than someone else, whether they are you're friends or a stranger. Call me a caveman, but I just like beating the game for what it is, online multiplayer is just a nice bonus :)

foxfire0666 5 pts

well the water aspect seems a bit pointless but as long as capcom doesnt mess up by only letting you play with ppl who you haves friend codes, Im looking forward to this

Brakua 5 pts

Worse thing capcom could of done..... Why Wii, it should of been on PS3 and Xbox 360. The graphics would of looked so sick, and more parts of the enemies would come off and most likely have cut decals! Sigh this is a sad sight.

IXIWhistIXI 5 pts

If this game were for the 360 it would be a hit in america no doubt, however not japan because 360s aren't anything like they are in america. Wii would be able to compete with the online console gaming world if they didn't cripple each game with friend codes. Friend codes alone are fine, but when they mean you can't even send 1 of 3 short messages it's not doing any good. I don't think anybody would play CS:S if valve made it so only people on your steam friends list could hear you talk. Obviously smash bros doesn't need that much teamwork, but common.

Dualmask 5 pts

Monster Hunter has always been online one way or another...though I've never actually played online myself (only played the two portable versions on PSP anyway, which went online with something called XLink or something). I'm curious as to how it will work on the Wii. Online play works great for Mario Kart Wii and Brawl, at least when you're playing with friends. We all hate friend codes, but they work. I think I would have preferred this on PS3 as well as Wii because the online play would have worked better for sure. But I'm not mad about the exclusivity either. Capcom usually knows what they're doing. I'm looking forward to fighting those epic underwater battles and whatever else they have up their sleeve. Plesioth can't run anymore...

Dragonknight0 6 pts

this is kinda weird game but good one though

Dragonknight0 6 pts

is it kina weird you are fighting the watter with melle weapons O-o

pacman007 5 pts

im guessing CAPCOM put this game on Wii becaues Wii sold more units compare to PS3/360 ..BIG MISTAKE! no milk on Wii ...Wii = JOKE

Rebel4lyfe06 5 pts

I dont see how the online is going to work. I was looking forward to this ps3 exclusive. Most likely wont buy it now. First RE5 now MH3 geez capcom :{

Doolum 5 pts

man i hope Capcom come to its senses and bring back MH3 on PS3

Maakasukage 5 pts

Sorry for doulbe post. But I agree with Online sucking on Wii. PS3 owns in the department compared to Wii. (Still don't see what campcom doing, bad choices.............=() Thats what Monster Hunter is about to.

Maakasukage 5 pts

LOL I know its dissapointing see this made this choice of Wii exclusive its dumb (no sales stratigies they said makes any sense). If they are smart they will realize their mistake and put it on both PS3 and Wii when its comes to North america if they don't. Tsch tsch. Bad choices......... Nintendo (Wii) better not ruin controls. That would ruin game, which then people be dissapointed then hate game. The go back to the Rightful place for MH on a Sony system. and play classic Monster Hunters Like MHF2 MHF etc.(which rocked)

gla300 5 pts

I still wish to see this game in PS3, just imagine someone enters your room then sees you swinging with the controller like maniac xD i would defiantly thinks you are crazy

Rasengan_X 5 pts

Looks very good, I really want to go underwater and fight that thing. He looks like a good new challenge to me.

Shadow-909 5 pts

This game should be multiplatform and in English. Phantasy Star Portable should also be in English what a shame, $ 15.000.000.000 lost...

scubanick 5 pts

Its about time we get to see gameplay with online. The wii has bombed the online portion like on smash bros brawl but this looks good to me.

hnirvana 5 pts

they don't need air and they don't sink in the water wearing those metal armors XD

SeanChan10 5 pts

xNinjaKingx this has to be online there's probably no way it isn't gonna be not online cuz this game meant to be a multiplayer game.

xNinjaKingx 5 pts

@Kuy4 TO CAPCOM :D and i hope this is only plz o god make it online

Kuy4 5 pts

Damn, this is looking great. Much like the standard of Nintendo's First Party games. Here's to Capcom!
