Funny that you respond in such an unecessarily hostile manner. I love FPS's myself, I was simply pointing out an invalid argument. My point was that one cannot make such a general judgement with limited knowledge. I have played the game. Even MHtri. So my knowledge comes not from video's that i've watched, but from experience. All i'm saying to you is that the game is not nearly as bad as you might think. As limited as videos can be, they aren't the best basis for judgement.

Its not that I don't like FPS's it was merely an example. Reply when you're clear headed, not in the heat of the moment.

Your words makes you sound like a fan-boy. My comments were based on the videos shown 3-MONTHS AGO. Back then not much info was released except those videos. Also, if you don't like FTPs, thats YOUR PROBLEM. It's seems that there's alot you don't know about FTPs other than just shooting. I'm going to use your own words now, "I suggest playing the game before passing judgement on repitition". Play the games without hating it.

your statement is equivilant to saying "Call of duty is so repetitive, all you do is shoot people". The game itself actually has quite a loyal fanbase despite its flaws. Though the game does not feature an amazing diversity of mission types, the types of creatures you have to deal with changes the game up enough. Entire strategies have to be rewritten depending on exactly what you're doing.

I suggest playing the game before passing judgement on repitition. I hate FPS's...all you do is shoot things

very few monsters actually spawn infinitely. Vespoids are one the few that do it consistently. Most rooms you can actually clear before hand, which most players do because they anticipate having to fight there. I've played alot of games where i've had to fight infinitely spawning enemies. They get really annoying. I don't like MH being lobbed into that group, because endless respawn is not common in game. The game isn't supposed to be easy, so you're meant to time potion drinking when the monster can't hit you.

Damn, and I hated the tail-whip in the previous MH games!

Come on everyone wants the game to be easy like in the games were you only die 3 times in the whole thing but monster hunter is challenging and that’s what makes it good

This is actually illustrative of one of the reasons I couldn't get into Monster Hunter, which is constantly getting surrounded by endlessly spawning monsters and trapped in recovery animation after recovery animation. God forbid it let you drink a recovery potion whilst moving. I know my arms immediately become immobile when my legs are going, so it makes sense.

the premise of this game is amazing,if it was well implemented i would buy it. the problem is it never changes and the controls are cumbersome and the game is just plain not fun most of the time but fingers crossed for this one

The game looks interesting and some what fun. Those huge and ridicolous swords make the game look silly. Some of the gameplay videos are repetitive game play. If thats all the game can do, then the game will fail.

yeah!coming soon to US.but man,i really really(i mean desperately really) hope that Capcom makes an offline mode as in MHF series so players can solo guild hall quests.I played the Japanese version and only if you go online could you play Guild Hall quests(well, its another town you are basically in).Now not everyone is connected to the net.

    Gief PS3 Monster Hunter. :p
I like how these "monsters" showcase how it's not enough to button mash with a huge weapon to win in this series.

Yeah, it looks like the guy playing sucks at the game. Man, I hope that this title makes it to the Wii. Monster Hunter was my favorit game on the PS2.
