Those graphics look sick!! I can't beleive its on Wii. You see people, give any hardware enough time to figure out how to use the hardware and a few years down the road, you'll see amazing graphics.

March 2010... Oh well, Ill just have to rely on my PSP till then.

@Warnerator And besides. Monster Hunter have never been perfect in gameplay! The consept is lovely. I really like the idea! But the game has some minor "flaws". One of its biggest (and best) points it had (the whole series) was just its great graphics. The art-direction and its moody suroundings. I could just stand and watch the horizon, the animals eating grass, the sun trickle thrue the leaves in the forrest etc. So this is a game that actually whould be better, with next-gen graphics. IMHO anyhow.

@Warnerator Well I just reflected over my thoughts. As with the MH2 for the PS2, I think it didnt even reach the stores (anyway over here). It even says "canceled" on gamespot (So on witch platform is the MH2?). And then Wii gets MH3, and not PS3 as stated at the beginning (havnt even played MH2), and a ported Monster Hunter G! If Im real honest, I dont realy think that MH3 is a port of MH2, that was just a sarcastic "comment". But otherwise, I Like MH, but I just own a PS2 (and PC of course). Hoped for MH3 to come to the PS3 ... but nope. Everyone knows its easier to develop a game for the Wii then PS3, thats why I think its Cheap. And another thing. This game possible isnt all that about "graphics". But it wouldnt hurt, as its a semi-sightseeing slash hunting game! The better looking enviroument, the better experience IMHO! :) Guess I have to get me a Wii ... to then.

monster hunter is just one of those games that graphics really don't matter, kind of like ocarina of time. The game play is so outstanding and the game is so intense and compelling that you forget to look at all shinies, shadows, and textures. Other games need those things for it to be good. I could care less if it was on ps3 or wii, save me 10 dollars at least.

@jadelotuz what? you can't be serious. this is monster hunter THREE, all new, all fresh, how could you think this was a port of monster hunter 2. If you were a true monster hunter fan you wouldn't have said such a thing.

Is this a ported Monster Hunter 2 (PS2, did that game ever see the shelves?) with some new stuff in it (like, nunchuck controls?). I also see - in the lineup - that they now are going to port "Monster Hunter G" to the Wii as well. A game that is like ... 4 years old ... on PS2? This is so cheap. Well! hopefully they get their thumbs out of their *bleep*, and Make a "Monster Hunter 4" or "Monster Hunter G2" or something. Maybe a New "MH3 - Extreme" multi-platform for PS3/Xbox360, cause this game looks almost the same as the 4 year old PS2 game? But on the other side! Hurray for the Wii, some more proper games for their platform. :)

i was tempted to buy a Wii just for this game but after visiting the japanese site & learning you HAVE to use the crappy non-responsive waggle stick/analogue attachment control scheme, I would rather stab myself in the testicles, C'mon capcom do a new monster hunter on a DECENT CONSOLE!!!

Man I do like me some MH. But man do I hate me some water stages. Why does every game insist on having an awkward under water portion?

@SgtScorpion I agree, personally I think that the PS3 would've been a stronger platform for them to release it on since it has better accessibility for things like keyboards, wireless headsets and the like. Not to mention that its a quality piece of hardware as well. Oh well. I have a Wii so I can't really complain. Hopefully it hits stateside before too long.

dont have a Wii so ill get a psp and get MHFU. i wouldve loved MH3 on ps3 because i loved the first one on the PS2 but capcom had to be lazy and say "o well the development costs are too much" over half the ppl who had ps2 are now on PS3 so thats no excuse.
