    Is this game English?
Monster Hunter seems to be getting very popular and I wanted to check for myself what all the fuss was about.

    to soapweed:

Well, it might seem a bit boring because all that can be seen is a run slash run slash action with a big opponent, but playing it is way different, the excitement to kill the creatures, real time tactics required, reflex, and wanting to take revenge whenever you were takendown. Hard to explain without playing :-)

Well, just kinda frustrated to CAPCOM's decision to make it an Xbox exclusive. The end of my future franchise to CAPCOM. They should learn how to look back to where they started.

I'd rather see a nice new version for the PC; these days I can hardly be bothered to turn on the 360.

i agree with twv25... a monster hunter for the ps3 would be, well, right. Sony is where the series's power started at and haven't seen much excitement from the wii.

This is actually an old trailer for the PC version. Apologies for the mix up. Trailer for the 360 version will be up shortly.

for those who don't already know, the trailer is the already released PC version which only sold in Japan since 2007. now capcom is saying to bring this to 360, of course with graphic revamp and everything. gamespot is kind suck to clear things up

anyway to the game, its a good and bad news for me, I always wanted monster hunter to be made on a real system, thought PS3 would be first to wait, then it became 360 exclusive, I do own one, but M$ banish me for life capcom is so unpredictable when it come to make exclusive.

characters seem generic, the fights with bigger foes looks like repetitive leg slashing and the graphics look like the ps2 could manage them happily. Not what i'd expect from a 2010 released game. Is there an appeal to this i'm missing? if so tell me as i'd like to be fair in my judgement

This looks pretty boring... then again about half of my friends have Monster Hunter on their PSP's and stay up till 4 in the morning playing it so there must be something I'm missing out of all this.

After watching quite a lot of action scenes, that second last minute of silly emotes and eating animations is quite... jarring.

Dam, ps3 misses out again. I know this is a sd vid, but it looks like a wii port. Why aren't they makin a full fledged 360 version? I'm sure capcom is sayin again, that the ps3 is just too expensive to develop for.
