equipment to kill rathian

    what do you guys advise I use to kill the rathian because I tried with the weapon I always use but go knocked out 3 times within the first 10 mins and it was annoying. I it is any help the equipment i was using was black katana mark 1 and the full hermitaur set. thanks in advance.

    Rathians are weak against weapons with dragon and thunder attributes. I would suggest using a long sword with one of those, cut off its tail, and then attack its legs from the side.
