Monster Hunter Freedom 2 does not disappoint. A lot of new features and items that builds unto the first game.

User Rating: 10 | Monster Hunter Portable 2nd PSP
This game is so much better than it's previous installment, Monster Hunter Freedom. Some may ask why. Well basically everything you said about MHF, "Oh I wish they had this", "It would be cool if..." All of these wants have been granted in MHF2.

Graphics 10/10:
Stunning, to say the least, for PSP graphics. Great item models, the environment is detailed (or to a certain point), lots of new monster models that impressed me when I first started to play (or even saw the first cut-scene). A lot of new weapon/armor models and an option to actually VIEW the equipment you are buying BEFORE you actually craft it! How cool right?

Game Play 9/10:
Same as before, get a quest, do the quest, have fun killing random monsters or a big monster. A 9/10 because sometimes this does get repetitive, but for a hardcore MH fan such as myself killing that Rathalos 10,000 times is just a bench mark goal for me.

Sound 10/10:
A lot like the first sound track. Very scenic and goes with what is going on. Kudos. Still the option of choosing your voice at the beginning and other customizable features.

Story 3/10:
Eh, most (if not ALL) MH games lack a story line. I don't really care I just want to slay me some giant wyverns and monsters.

Replay Value:
High, this game can be VERY addictive, even if you're going solo. This game's addiction grows even more, A LOT MORE, with friends. If you have friends, and I'm hoping you do, force them to get this game. I remember me and my friends staying up all night trying to get that last quest in before sunrise and a snack break, then back to the game!

Value:
You cannot beat the price of this game. I think most areas around me are already sold out. I would pick this up if I saw it.

Some new features:
-Piggy clothes.
-Change your hair style at any time.
-Viewing equipment before you buy it.
-Equipment decorations.
-New monsters
-New areas
-And more!

You will just have to get the game to see what else Monster Hunter Freedom 2 has.
