People Stop complaining! All your problems are not a big deal! Gamespot underate this game for poor reasons.
1: People say that since there no lock on it is incredibley hard to keep track of the monsters on the screen. Well tell me this. Would you want to only lock on to only 1 monster on the screen and all the other monsters come and attack you from all sides. Or do you want to come up with a method to control the camera and attack at the same time. People should just put up with that fact.
2:Long load times... Ok JUST be patient, or change the setting to make the load times go faster (Wich will make the games graphics a little worse but hey, Faster loading times) or enjoy the fact that the designers made this game look Very Good for a PSP game.
3: Slow wepons: Are you serious? People say that all the wepons are to slow and it is nearly impossible to hit the monsters. Well, do you expect a giant hammer will just go as fast as weilding dual blade swords? All the big wepons are very powerful, but heavy, so dont complain if they go to slow, you always have the option to use the sword, dual blades, and guns/bows.
4: The game being to difficult: Well do you want the game to be a cakewalk? In my opinion, a game that is really fun in my opinion but is incredibley easy does not make a game great. Games that challenge you are really fun and having 200 missions being a cakewalk would make me quit the game if there was no added challenge after the main story has ended. Thus having monster hunter Freedom 2 challenging is really fun and makes me want to come back to this game to play it over and over.
This game is a really really really fun game and when you get past these the somewhat akward controls you will have a really pleasent experience with your PSP and will keep you coming back to this game for months to come.
Though there is one MAJOR disapointment in this game. NO ONLINE
Co-op. I mean, i have friends who has this game who i can play with, no problem, but bringing this game to an online experience would have been awesome.
