Dang where is the Vita love. It was the PSP Monster Hunter games that drew me to this series and from what I understand actually developed the cult following for the game. So I bought a Vita anticipating a Monster Hunter release. So what gives Capcom? or is Sony the issue?

I have seen and done all of the above already ... Why would i bother ... make one for a PS3 with really solid graphics already!

I want MH4 not this game again, this is just the worst excuse to let us wait more even if we got trailers before this game.

Monster Hunter Tri for Wii ran very well. The online multiplayer had me hooked and I spent a majority of my 130+ hours with the game online--lag free and hardly ever getting kicked.I can?t wait to put just as much time with the Wii U version and some of its new content.

I still don't understand why they haven't released one on the PS3?  I guess we do have Dragon's Dogma, which is still pretty close.  Still not sold on the WiiU, but it's getting damn close!  Now, just give us a release date for a new Zelda, and a new Donkey Kong adventure, like the N64 and I'm sold!

"no i'm not being a badass, i'm preparing to run away"

welcome to monster hunter, where you spend more time putting your weapon away than attacking :D

Is it that bad? lol. I've never played one before and thinking about getting this one.

@Heil68 @BrunoBRS bad? it's amazing lol. he has to put the weapon away because you can't run with something so heavy and unwieldy in your hands.

it's an amazing game, with amazing boss fights and experiences. despite the repetitive nature of it (you'll be fighting the same monsters multiple times), the encounters are always challenging and feel different.

it's one of those games where you have great stories to share with your fellow hunter friends.

@Heil68 @BrunoBRS i got into the series with monster hunter 3, which is the vanilla version of 3 Ultimate, so i don't think that's a problem. there's great replay value, as long as you don't mind the repetitive nature of the game.

honestly the only thing i'd be worried about is how well the controls translate to the 3DS, namely the camera, but even then, it's probably just a matter of getting used.

i recommend looking up some gameplay of MH3 on youtube, so you have an idea of how things go.

Sounds great and I like to hear about the replay value! Hopefully it's not too frustrating to someone new to the series.
