This is what Monopoly is all about. Fun, solid and so beautiful.
At first, the graphics are very good. Details, perspective, movement, everything looks great....In a Monopoly perspective... Games deliver a lot of different boards under various theme(From chocolate to classic to world edition). The dices and the tokens are unique to each boards, so it's a new style every game.
The sound is very smooth and clear, even on my not so good Sharp Aquos speakers. The rolls of the dices is almost perfect and makes you feel like you play on a soft rug. Thing is that my Mustache man isn't a man of words. Monopoly is some kind of repetive, and I would enjoy some variety. The lyrics stays the same...This can be annoying and to add over the lyrics, the games keeps the dialog even if you change option, the game lag at this point..
You can change a lot of options in your Monopoly boards. The starting amount, the salary, interest etc. You can play up to 4 player, and play with less controller than # of players. The trading part is well done.
Basically, it's a pure Monopoly game with style.
Mini games are...Fun but...Can't play 1vs1, always need to include comp. I understand the 4 players competition stuff, the board game part of this is long and annoying. This is not what you wanna play, you try then it dies.
And please EA, let's say we're not all Monopoly fans and suppose it's hard to find players. Why they haven't include a multiplayer online mode? From EA is a disapointment, and for me and my lonely fellow cat which doesn't like so much Monopoly, it's gonna be a 1 games/month ratio for all his life...Max.
