Classic Game Rejuvenated; the best adventure game from LucasArts brought back with better graphics and voice-overs.

To be honest, I don't expect this "Special Edition" version of my all-time favorite adventure game to be worth to see. I was disappointed with the first one, didn't even play it till the end. But LeChuck's Revenge is different! I find it compelling and intriguing; wanting to find out more and more, like, what's that scenery would be like, how's the imuse gonna be there, etc.

The visual is drawn beautifully and it doesn't changed the original a lot, which I like. The characters design obviously different from the original, but for the better. Animations, though, lacking smoothness and frames; guess they want it like the old one but in my opinion, it could be done just the opposite. Background are georgeously hand painted; but some areas could do some refinings. With blown-up resolution, the background supposed to show more details.

I like the voice actors, great addition. And another great addition is the commentaries from the three designers! Ron, Tim and Dave! A valued point of this game.

I rather disappointed with the iMuse. The music itself I think got better sound because they use real instrument instead synth; but it lacks certain zest. The one I really felt is when Guybrush told Captain Dread where to go and the ship starts to travel on map, I remember the old music to be very fun and exciting but the new one I find it rather calm.

All in all, this one brings back some nostalgia from me. And some points are a great improvement. It's a keeper.
