Very fun, addictive and frustrating!
GAMEPLAY 10/10
Point and Click. Controls are very simple. You have the option to do many things such as "look at", "pick up", "talk to" and "use". Simply use your mouse to select any of the choices and if an item is involved you once again use your mouse to select it. The aim is to solve many many puzzles and the first time you play this game is definetly the best, everything is new and it is very very difficult! Do not waste the fun by searching for a walkthrough online. It may be frustrating but you will be glad when you finally complete it.
GRAPHICS 3/10
Now I know this is a very old game, but the graphics have aged terribly. This doesn't affect gameplay but I believe it is very stupid to give the graphics a 10 when they are obviously terrible. For it's time they were decent, but in this day they aren't good at all.
SOUND 5/10
As with the graphics, the sound is bad, almost non existent. The music is good though, I love the music from the Monkey Island series and it was updated from the DOS version. So music sounds a little better. Still there are no sounds in the game to mention as all the dialogue is written text
VALUE 10/10
Despite the sound and graphics issues this is still a fantastic game. Check your bargain bin. Its fun, addictive and frustrating! This game is mega cheap these days and you will spend hours playing it if you can forget about the sound and graphics. ------
8.5. Gameplay is everything you look for in these games, its tough and some of the written dialogue is very funny. Highly entertaining and is a classic for a reason. Recommended to all point and click gamers and even people playing modern adventure/puzzle games!
